About The Mighty Wig Founder
I started my journey in the hair industry in 2003 when I was 19 years old. I fell in love immediately. Over the years I have pursued many paths and gained experience in a multitude of areas. I started working in an Aveda salon where I became the hair cutting educator. From there, I set out on my own. I created a successful independent business, growing as a business owner and hair stylist. After 9 years behind the chair I went on to pursue my dream of working in theatre. I learned to make wigs while working at the Utah Shakespeare Festival and the Chicago Shakespeare Theater. I then moved to Las Vegas where I began working with Cirque Du Soleil. Between shows, I started a small side business building custom wigs and toppers and performing repairs for multiple hair loss salons in the Las Vegas area. During this time, I built my name as an artistic wig designer and have been able to work all over the country in theaters big and small. I recently moved back home to Knoxville, Tennessee. I am still pursuing my dreams of being a designer and artist while building my business to offer solutions to people struggling with hair loss.
